Dr. Jeanita W. Richardson’s expertise spans the disciplines of corporate lending, teaching across the entire educational continuum, state and national policy evaluation, and nonprofit consulting. Service delivery has taken the form of in-person and virtual workshops, curriculum development, training manuals, research partnerships and publications. She has more than 25 years of expertise in applied qualitative and quantitative strategies designed to assess and advance public health and educational equity outcomes.
In collaboration with international ministries of health, and domestic federal, state, and local educational and health bodies, she offers data-driven recommendations and has earned a reputation as an advocate for optimizing the health, engagement, and the educational promise of populations.
Her experience in community engagement and research mentorship makes her a highly sought after resource for culturally respectful research and programmatic practices. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex scientific concepts and data into palatable formats for diverse populations. In addition, she is an Emerita Professor in the University of Virginia, School of Medicine.
